This privacy policy describes how the personal data of users who visit this website and use the contact form is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The data controller is Paolo Alfio Nicotra (Nutshell Electronics). Contact email: info@nutshellelectronics.it.

2. Data we collect

We process the following data:

• Data provided through the contact form: first name, last name, email address and the content of the message (plus the product name in the product enquiry form), voluntarily provided by the user.
• Technical and navigation data: IP address and technical logs, processed for the security and correct functioning of the website (for example, request rate limiting). The IP address is processed transiently and is not stored persistently by the website.

Providing the data marked as required in the form is necessary to handle the request: without it, we cannot reply.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• responding to requests sent through the contact form: the controller's legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); for requests relating to the purchase of a product, the performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b));
• website security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f));
• compliance with any legal obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Retention

Data is processed with electronic tools and appropriate security measures. Data sent through the form is retained for the time needed to handle the request and for 24 months, unless otherwise required by law.

5. Recipients of the data

Data is processed, on behalf of the controller and as data processors, by the hosting provider (OVH, European Union) and the email service provider used to receive and manage messages (Aruba S.p.A., Italy). Data is not disclosed or sold to third parties for marketing purposes, and no transfer outside the European Union takes place.

6. Cookies

This website uses only a technical cookie needed to remember the selected language (NEXT_LOCALE), which does not require consent. We do not use profiling, analytics or tracking cookies. Any YouTube videos are loaded only after an explicit user action.

7. Your rights

Users may exercise at any time the rights set out in Art. 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise them, write to info@nutshellelectronics.it. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

8. Profiling and automated decision-making

No profiling or automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is carried out. No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as the legal requirements for doing so do not apply.
